 | Godfrey Gomwe - Chairman Godfrey Gomwe is currently Executive Director of Anglo American South Africa, a role that sees him acting as Anglo American’s key representative in South Africa, working together with Anglo American’s Business Unit CEOs to deliver the Group’s strategy in the region. Godfrey was recently Head of Group Business Development, Africa for Anglo American and has previously been Finance Director and Chief Operating Officer of Anglo American South Africa. He has served on a number of Anglo American’s operating boards and executive committees during a 10-year career with the Group and has held a number of directorships in other listed and unlisted companies. Specifically, Godfrey was previously Chairman of Highveld Steel and Chairman of Mondi SA prior to its restructuring. Godfrey is currently Chairman of Anglo Zimele and the Transformation Committee of Anglo American South Africa. |
 | Nick van Rensburg - Managing Director Over the past 17 years, Nick van Rensburg, currently managing director at Anglo Zimele, has been involved in all aspects of small and medium enterprise development and procurement and has been party to the creation of many SMEs in the mining and mining supply sector in South Africa. He also spearheaded the formation of the Anglo Khula Mining Fund, a multi-million rand initiative with Khula Enterprise Finance, which launched in 2003. Nick holds a BCom degree from UNISA and a National Diploma in Cost Accounting from the Witwatersrand Technikon. |
 | Norman Mbazima (Zambian) Norman Mbazima, currently the CEO of Anglo Thermal Coal, pursued accounting studies at West Bromwich College of Commerce and Technology, UK from 1977 to 1980. Norman is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants. Norman worked with Deloitte for 18 years with a significant position of his responsibility being provision of professional accounting services to the mining industry. |
 | Don Tooth Don Tooth was educated in Kimberley, before obtaining a B.Comm majoring in Accounting from UPE in 1983 and Hons B & A, majoring in Financial Management, from Stellenbosch University in 1987. Don is currently the Managing Director of Vergelegen Wines (Pty) Limited (formally Anglo American Farms Ltd). |

 | Lia Vangelatos - Chief Investment Manager Lia Vangelatos, chief investment manager for Anglo Zimele, holds a Doctorate in Business Leadership, a BCompt degree and an MBL. She has filled various financial, management accounting, treasury and business development positions since she joined Anglo American in 1979. In December 1999, Lia officially joined Anglo Zimele.

 | Petersan Mothudi - Supply Chain Fund Manager Petersan Mothudi has an excellent track record in accountancy and a passion for making small businesses grow. A qualified chartered accountant, he studied at Vista University and Unisa where he gained his honours degree. He completed his articles in 2004 and passed his board examination at the first attempt. His business career started with Deloitte & Touche where Petersan was promoted to the position of audit manager before joining Anglo American’s internal auditing arm, Anglo Business Assurance Services, in 2006. |
 | Louwrens de Jager - Small Business Start-up Fund Manager Louwrens de Jager studied at the University of South Africa where he graduated with a BCom degree. He was appointed as senior clerk with Anglo Coal in 1989 and is currently a senior business development manager at Anglo Coal.

 | Mxolisi Kota - Anglo Khula Mining Fund Manager Mxolisi Kota has a wealth of knowledge and experience gained as an exploration geologist for the Council of Geosciences. During his time at the council, he was involved with a number of projects and was, until recently, head of the Mineral Resources Development Unit. He will soon be graduating with his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Stellenbosch Business School, which complements his Master of Science Degree in exploration geology from Rhodes University in Grahamstown. |

 | Natalie Karod-Domingo - Company Secretary Natalie Karod-Domingo, Anglo Zimele’s company secretary, completed a Chartered Institute of Secretaries degree from the University of Witwatersrand and holds a diploma in Corporate Law from Rand Afrikaans University as well as a diploma in drafting of contracts from Johannesburg University. Natalie, who was previously employed at HL & H (10 years); Malbak (10 years), Absa (3 years) and FNB (3 years), joined Zimele on 1 December 2003. |
 | Elize Isenschmid - Legal Advisor Elize Isenschmid, Anglo Zimele’s legal advisor, joined the team on December 1 2006, and provides legal guidance on Anglo Zimele and Anglo Khula Mining Fund transactions. Elize obtained her BA Law degree at Rand Afrikaans University, and later graduated from the University of South Africa with a LLB Honours Degree (cum laude). She was awarded the Senate Medal for best academic achievement for the LLB degree as well as the Johannes Voet Bar Medal, a special award given by the Advocates Association of the Transvaal for outstanding performance in post graduate legal studies. Elize completed her articles at Deneys Reitz Attorneys and was admitted as an attorney in 2002. |
 | Sandra Berry - Administrative Assistant Sandra Berry joined Anglo American in July 2004 on a temporary basis. She was recruited by Anglo Zimele in March 2005 as Administrative Assistant. Since July 2006 she assists in the company secretarial department. |
 | Vanessa Daniels - Administrator Vanessa Daniels, administrator of the Small Business Start-Up Fund, ‘loves working with passionate people who make other people’s dreams come true’. Vanessa is the link between the small business hub managers and Anglo Zimele decision-makers, collating applications for funding for consideration by the board. Many applicants do not have the benefit of an education and Vanessa is very impressed with the patience and care extended to each and every application. |
